In working towns like Burlington, horse-drawn carriages were common transportation before automobiles filled the loop and web of once one-way streets. On occasion, a horse would cut loose, creating an unexpected series of events leading to a “runaway”. Unpredictable, often times entertaining, but always memorable. That, in a nutshell, is The Runaway.
